Dear Bosnia & Herzegovina/ Sovereign Nation Committee,

I would like to file a complaint. Recently during a test of my own worldly knowledge I came across a slight problem when trying to recall the names of some of the countries that once made up the former Yugoslavia. One country in particular caused me much distress, the country of Bosnia & Herzegovina.

Now, I’m sure the country of Bosnia & Herzegovina is a beautiful land with beautiful people. BUT! I believe they are unaware that the rest of the world only knows them by the name “Bosnia.” When was “Herzegovina” added??? *shrugs* I sure has hell don’t know, and no one had the common decency to tell me. So my letter is written with the request that you either remove Herzegovina from the name of your country or mount a vigorous ad campaign as to re brand yourself as Bosnia & Herzegovina (this might be more costly while at the same time causing school children and immature adults to giggle… so might I suggest just dropping Herzegovina). Thank you for your time.
